My name is Maxine Nguyen. Firstly, I am board-certified (by NCBTMB), Maryland-licensed massage therapist (LMT), trained in both Western and Eastern bodywork modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Pre/Postnatal Massage, Traditional Thai Massage, Shiatsu, and Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT). Besides doing Swedish and Deep Tissue massages on healthy/active clients, I also work with post-surgical clients to relieve edema through the use of lymph drainage techniques, lighten/remove scars, and manage bodily pain/tension resulting from certain medical conditions. Secondly, I am a Maryland-licensed esthetician, offering skincare consultations, facials, peels, waxing, and makeup application services. My background is in public and corporate accounting and finance, and information systems implementation and consulting. However, my first love is with the beauty, health, and wellness industry that aims to enhance a person’s self-esteem so they can live a happier and healthier life.

From time to time and as the client engagement calls for additional resources, I partner with a network of massage therapists and spa specialists with whom I worked in the past. These MD-state licensed massage therapists are fully insured and vetted, highly professional individuals whose bodywork skills are diverse. They also have a great personality and excellent customer service.
